From “The the small town by the ocean" to the Fashion Capital of Paris in July, Kathrine Lindman will travel from the beautiful coastal town of Kristiansund

to the fashion industry's Mecca, Paris, to participate in Paris Fashion Week. This comes following an invitation from one of the world's most renowned catwalk producers.

"It is an honor to receive this invitation," says a clearly proud Lindman. "This is

definitely the most important fashion event I've been invited to. It's incredible to think that I will now be among world-famous brands like Buccellati, Boucheron, Mont Blanc, and Van Cleef & Arpels."

Jessica Minh Anh, which productions have graced the pages of well-known fashion magazines such as Vogue Fashion, Marie Claire, Elle, and Bazaar, is the one that will show Kathrine Lindman's jewelry on the catwalk along the Seine at the end of July 2025.

STEP UP FROM NEW YORK

Lindman is certainly no novice in the jewelry industry. The Seashell collection in silver and enamel—one of her signature series—has been on the market for 21 years. These pieces have been showcased in various parts of the world, including at New York Fashion Week and New York Jewelry Week.

There's no doubt in Lindman's mind that Paris Fashion Week is a step up from New York. "Just the name Paris Fashion Week gives fashion enthusiasts goosebumps, myself included. Being one of the names on the red carpets there is simply fantastic for 'a regular girl from Kristiansund,'" smiles the jewelry designer, who began her design career in 1995.

JESSICA MINH ANH

Minh Anh, considered one of the true supermodels, has in recent years focused primarily on producing spectacular catwalks in locations such as hangars at JFK Airport in New York, Sydney Harbour in Australia, the Hoover Dam in Nevada, and at the massive solar park in Seville, Spain.

Now, the Vietnamese producer wants to bring 55-year-old Lindman to the Seine in Paris, where her company JMA Global is converting boats into floating catwalks to create the illusion of models walking on water. VIP guests will be seated close to the models with a view of the Seine as the boat cruises down the river, with Paris's architectural gems serving as a natural backdrop for the floating catwalk.

"I have to admit it's a bit overwhelming to think that my jewelry will be showcased alongside Haute Couture from around the world. It's especially thrilling that photos and videos from the catwalk featuring my brand will be broadcast to over 100 different countries."

Between Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Montmartre, Kathrin Lindman's jewelry collections Seashell and Seaweed will be displayed alongside the most fashionable Haute Couture creations for 2025.

Lindman began her career in Oslo and, over her nearly 30-year tenure in the jewelry industry, has had workshops at St. Hanshaugen and Briskeby in Oslo. In 1996, she established Kathrine Lindman Norwegian Jewelry in Oslo, and 20 years later, she moved back to Kristiansund, where she now has a workshop on Storgata, near the harbor. Her greatest source of inspiration is the sea, a fact that is clearly reflected in he jewelry collections through the organic shapes drawn from seaweed and shells.

Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture 2025 takes place from July the 7 to July the 10, with Lindman's collections hitting the catwalk on the first day.
